The Coronet Theatre is seeking a new full time Technical Stage Manager.

The Technical Stage Manager is a key figure within the Production Department at The Coronet Theatre, assisting in the running of the department and helping to ensure the smooth delivery of the varied programme of performances, workshops and events. The Technical Stage Manager will assist in the day to day operations of the department, being involved in both production and building related activities, whilst managing ancillary Theatre projects such as working with visiting artists and poetry evenings.

This is a hands on role, which could be ideal role for a recent graduate (or equivalent) looking to gain experience in the technical delivery of a wide range of art forms, working on a dynamic programme of both UK based and international work. This individual would however ideally have at least one year of relevant technical experience in the performing arts.

Caring for our iconic and unique building will also be an essential element of the role, with the successful candidate also working on the restoration and ongoing maintenance of the Theatre building, for use by both the local and wider London community.

Contract: Full Time

Hours: 42 hours per week, including evenings and weekend work.

Pay Rate: Salary £26,000 per annum (pro rata).
