Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) wrote nearly 1800 short poems: epigrammatic, metaphysical, tragic, funny, touching, terrifying…and her correspondence matches the complexity and artfulness of her lyrics. Using letters, poems and analysis, Dead Poets Live will dramatise the life and work of this mysterious, unknowable and unique genius.

Dead Poets Live have established a cult following at The Coronet Theatre for their dramatised readings of classic poetry, attracting some of Britain’s finest actors including Charlotte Rampling, Miranda Richardson and Tom Hiddleston. All proceeds from their evenings go to the charity Safe Passage.
