Coronet Inside Out: Performing Arts Hub Norway
Performing Arts Hub Norway‘s (PAHN) online series Norway Now, promotes Norwegian performing arts in North America and Japan.
PAHN is a national competence centre to promote professional performing arts domestically and abroad, emphasizing independent performing arts. PAHN functions as a performing arts advisor for The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also manages the Ministry’s travel grant system for Norwegian performing artists performing abroad.

Now in its ninth edition, Norway Now – Performing Arts from the Northern Latitudes serves as one of the most important opportunities for North American presenters to discover a wide range of independent Norwegian artists creating rigorous new works in dance, physical theater, puppetry, video, multidisciplinary and performance art.

For the third time we are bringing the event Norway Now – Performing Arts from the Northern Latitude to Japan. In this virtual addition you will meet a selection of Norwegian artists presenting visual documentation of their work and talking about their artistic expressions and future projects.

Norwegian Arts Abroad is a network of organizations. Members include Office of Contemporary Art Norway (OCA), Music Norway, Performing Arts Hub Norway (PAHN), Norwegian Crafts, DOGA, Norwegian Film Institute (NFI) and Norwegian Litterature Abroad (NORLA).
Norwegian Arts Abroad facilitates the promotion of Norway internationally through managing grant programs of artistic, commerce and export-oriented nature. The member organizations are working as intermediaries between the political leadership, research and cultural industries – and connects them with the public. The network is part of the Ministry of Culture’s instrumental system and act as advisors to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
