Creative Call Out

WE ARE LOOKING FOR EIGHT MALE PERFORMERS TO BE A PART OF LUIGIA RIVA AND DANIELE DEROSSI’S TRIPLE BILL OF PERFORMANCE ART

The Coronet Theatre is seeking eight male volunteers to take part in a thought-provoking piece of performance art in the heart of London’s Notting Hill.

Inretita by dancer and choreographer Luigia Riva and writer Daniele Derossi interrogates and challenges patriarchal desire. In this 20-minute performance, volunteers will be tasked with holding red rope to constrain Riva’s body, as she tries to move around the space. This special opportunity is perfect for those interested in performance, movement and gaining experience in a professional theatre setting.

We are looking for participants from wide ranging and diverse backgrounds and ages, with the ability to stand and hold taught rope for an extended period of time. Previous performance experience is not required, but an interest in performance art is encouraged.

ABOUT INRETITA
