Philip Glass Another Look at Harmony

There is nowhere quite like the intimate auditorium of The Coronet Theatre to experience world class performers up close and personal.

In our mission to bring you the best dance from around the world, we’re delighted to welcome Thomas Lebrun, one of France’s most acclaimed choreographers of recent years, on his first visit to London, as part of the Institut Francais FranceDance UK festival.

Lebrun has danced with some of France’s leading companies and developed a theatrical style all his own. Since 2012, as Artistic Director of the prestigious Centre Chorégraphique National de Tours he has created work for many French and international companies.

Another look at memory travels through ten years of his choreography performed by some of his most faithful dancers. Together they respond to the powerful choral music of Philip Glass with a dance of rare precision.

“I love to work with dancers who relish this type of physical expression, the pure joy of being a body that tells a tale, a body inhabited by these memories”. – Thomas Lebrun
