Boram Kim Workshop: Techno Body

Book tickets

Alongside the raw, exhilarating and deeply personal dance solo show, Gwantong 18 by Boram Kim, founder of Ambiguous Dance Company, The Coronet Theatre is thrilled to present a unique and exciting opportunity to explore the acclaimed Korean choreographer and performer creative process.

Techno Body begins with a simple idea: there is no such thing as someone who cannot dance. Using the pulse and repetition of techno music, Boram invites participants to explore rhythm, instinct and movement through their own bodies. Rather than learning choreography or dance technique, the workshop focuses on discovering how movement already exists within each person, and how it can gradually become dance. The session is open to everyone, regardless of age, background or previous dance experience.

Duration Approximately 90 minutes.

Suitable for:
All levels. No previous dance experience required.
