We are delighted to announce that priority booking for our Spring 2026 season is now open to friends of The Coronet Theatre!

This exciting new season looks at the timeless nature of the human condition across continents and centuries. With 6 UK Premieres, Spring 2026 includes a series inspired by classic literary masterpieces including Dostoevsky, Ibsen, Churchill, Eliot, Olaf Stapledon, as well as new work by companies who are immersed in the literary tradition. Seen through the eyes of a different cultural heritage than the original writers, from New York’s The Wooster Group to Kyoto’s Chiten, this season demonstrates that enduring works still help us understand our modern world.

Neon Dance: Last and First Men
A contemporary dance work set to the backdrop of Johann Jóhannsson‘s 16mm black and white film of Olaf Stapledon’s visionary 1930 sci-fi novel, with narration from Tilda Swinton and a mesmerising orchestral score composed by Jóhannsson and Yair Elazar Gotman.

I Gordi / Teatro Franco Parenti: Visite
The remarkable Teatro dei Gordi return to the Coronet with Visite, a touching, humorous performance rooted in traditions of physical theatre, commedia dell’arte and mask theatre, as seen in their hugely successful Sulla Morte Senza Esagerare and Pandora. A delicate parable of life, from youth to old age set entirely in a bedroom.
