Whist

WHIST is a unique hybrid dance performance mixing a physical art installation and a VR experience.

Inspired by Freudian case studies and the work of Japanese artist Shuji Terayama, WHIST invites the audience to delve into the dreams and fears of an unusual family. Through 360° film and 3D sound, audiences will wear a VR headset and get transported into a series of dance performances where boundaries between the conscious and unconscious are blurred.

Touring the world to rave reviews, dance company AΦE presents this major work in a special arrangement for our main stage.
