Whist

(This is a past event and is no longer running)

WHIST presents a journey into the unconscious mind where physical theatre and virtual reality are combined.

What happens when the desires hidden in the dark corners of your mind are suddenly brought to light?

Inspired by Sigmund Freud’s real case studies, WHIST tells the story of a family – their dreams, fears and desires are unveiled through physical theatre. Audiences will wear a VR headset, interact with objects around the space, exploring each family members perspective how they choose to – there are over 70 paths to take.

Originally presented at Sadler’s Wells, before touring the world to rave reviews, dance company AΦE now present this major work in a special arrangement for our main stage – experience our theatre like never before.
