Blind andVisually Impaired

We want everyone to feel welcome at The Coronet Theatre, and we’re committed to making our building and performances as accessible as possible for blind and visually impaired visitors.
Arriving at the theatre
Our staff can meet you at the entrance and guide you through quieter, low-traffic routes to your seat. Please let us know in advance if you’d like support on arrival.
Before the performance
To make your visit as enjoyable as possible, we suggest arriving around 45 minutes before the start of the performance so you can familiarise yourself with the space and settle in without the rush.
Getting to your seat
If you are not attending with a companion or carer, our team will be available to greet you on arrival and assist you to your seat.
During the show
Some productions may have limited opportunities for touch tours or tactile experiences, but we’ll work with you wherever possible to help you enjoy the performance.
Service Animals
We welcome trained registered service animals at the Coronet Theatre. If you will be visiting with a service animal, please let us know in advance so we can book you an aisle seat for comfort. Alternatively, if you would prefer, our Box Office team is happy to look after your service animal in a quiet and safe area of the foyer during the performance.
Please note that while we are pleased to accommodate trained assistance dogs, emotional support animals are not permitted in the auditorium.
If you’d like more information or would like to book access support, please contact our team at access@thecoronettheatre.com or call the Box Office +44 (0) 20 3642 6606.
